Meet Our Pastor
Rev. Tony Ward
Our Pastor is Rev. Tony Ward from Tabor City, North Carolina. He is the son of Rev. Tom & Judy Ward. He is married to Rhonda Ward from Beaver Dam, North Carolina. They have two beautiful children Tre & Haleigh. Tre is married to Brianna and they have a precious little girl named Emersyn. Haleigh attends college in Auburn Alabama and is engaged to Stephen Hill.
Rev. Tony Ward graduated from Forest Hills High School in 1983. He then studied at University of North Carolina at Pembroke and graduated in 1989. He is also a Representative with Woodmen of the World Insurance in Tabor City, North Carolina.
In his spare time he enjoys spending time with his family, riding his horse and spoiling his granddaughter.
Rev. Tony Ward accepted his calling to preach on October 6, 2006. For 16 years he has allowed God to use him to reach the lost and feed his sheep.
On February 15, 2014 he began his ministry here at Hog Swamp Baptist Church.
